Photoshop introduction

1. Adobe Bridge, Adobe Camera Raw, and Photo Shop

3. Adobe Bridge is made to organize and to keep track of all your photos. You can also rate and review your images. It also makes it easy to share photos. Camera raw makes it easy to change exposure and coloring without worrying about messing it up because of the easy user friendly interface. You can also use non destructive cropping. Photoshop allows the use of powerful tools to add masks, take away blemishes or other unwanted details. It enables you to create photos while otherwise very difficult. Web designers use it on illustrations.
4. The crop tool allows you to crop out parts of the image.
5. The lasso tool allows you to select objects or parts by hand tracing them
6. The text tool allows you to print on text
7. To undo hit command-z
8. Go to window, history and click on the step you would like to revert to
9. Go to Image and select Image Rotation.
10. You click on the "no smoking circle" to get rid of a crop
11. You are telling Photoshop what dimensions to change the photo to from a certain ratio
12. Newsletters and newspapers are likely to require resolutions in the range of 150 to 200 pixels per inch
13. Magazines should have at least 250 PPI.
